Live in Sheffield Jan 19 - check out the review and film now!

kREEPA is penned from Dr.John Richard's self made 'Kreepback' machine. John says:

"The kreepback instrument is a responsive live electronic instrument that uses the principal of acoustic feedback. Feedback is created by generating signal loops between different audio devices. The instrument is essentially a ‘no-input’ instrument (all internal electronic feedback). For example, a very simple application of this principle would be to take the output of a channel on a mixing desk and plug it back into its own input. The kreepback instrument is built around two small mixers (one valve) and effect processors. One of the main considerations in the design of the instrument was portability: the whole instrument fits into two nineteen inch four unit flight cases. The kreepback instrument is modular and is combimed in various configurations with some of the instruments below."

John is usually joined by the highly innovative Hilary Jeffery on tromboscilator. They are also both members of SAND (Soul Jazz Records)
kREEPA will have you mesmerised, live and on record.

"Black Galaxy features Nicholas Bullen whose abrasive work in Napalm Death initiated a new musical genre known as 'Grindcore' and later a member of the dark, isolationist and dub-influenced Scorn. In collaboration with Simon Mabbutt they fuse cold and alien galactic soundscapes with minimal warped bass and glacial rhythmic underpinnings to create nocturnal sonorities. " - Capsule

"Layered glacial sound slithered out of the stage's sound system, sometimes nauseatingly uncomfortable . . . other times staggeringly beautiful and very powerful." - Zero Tolerance.

Track 02 of Freenoise: Fusion '2## (excerpt)' by kREEPA vs. Black Galaxy is a mammoth and highest quality sonic adventure which deserves attention.
